Hey, everyone!
One of the many reasons don't do stretch goals is I don't like the sense that the game won't ge as great as it can be unless you blast your relatives with my campaign on Facebook. So I "unlock" everything immediately. Like the two enormous Kickstarter exclusive figures for no added cost to backers.
But Kickstarter campaigns can be absolutely terrifying. You get a big boost at the beginning (hopefully), and another at the end (hopefully), and pray to whatever deity you can find or afford that you don't fall off the Kickstarter browse page and into a very dark, cold, and very very very still abyss of still stillness.
One solution is to pump money into advertising. One is to be lucky enough to have the Kickstarter staff love your project. And one is to ask your backer community to blast their relatives with your campaign on Facebook.
I'm doing the first, really hoping for the second, and now grossly asking for the third.
Please share this campaign with your communities, friends, game groups, relatives, anyone ever anywhere. It really means the world to me and the success of any project.

Totally insane.
Not only did we hit our goal, we hit our goal exactly. I looked back to see if someone pledged $53 or something weird to make that happen, but nope. Just math. Amazing.
I know Kickstarter is full of FUNDED IN TWO SECONDS banners (which always made me want to launch a project with a $1 goal to make that banner), and is also full of multi-million-dollar blockbuster projects, so some people may not see how huge this is for me. But it is, and I am all the way grateful for all of you.

I know it's super weird, but people asked me to bring it back, and anyone who knows me knows I love the idea of people being rewarded for helping me do things.
So yeah. Weird but cool. But weird.

A Possibly Premature Update

Maybe it's early to post an update, on account of it still being light out on the day that I launched Gatefall. But I want to take a minute to tell you all how grateful I am for your support.
I can't speak for anyone but myself, but launching a Kickstarter is terrifying. And Kickstarter has changed a lot since I launched Superfight in 2013. Everything here is so polished now, and I feel like I'm trying to show you a drawing I made while standing on a sidewalk outside the Louvre. So it's important to me that you know how much each one of your pledges means to me.
I really think you're going to love this game, and today is the first day in the many years of its life that I was able to actually picture other people playing it and enjoying it. We are over halfway to the goal, and the universe has taught me when to count chickens after all these years, but this is day zero of me knowing this game is finally going to exist, and you gave me that.
I'm going to give you a great game in return, but that won't go anywhere near making us even.
