Hey, everyone! Backers are reporting from all over that their games are arriving! We had our first US backer get their copy today. Canada and Australia should be coming soon, and EU and Asia should be nearing completion by now.
The reviews coming in are very positive both for the gameplay and the quality of the sculpts.
Please consider joining the discord, as there is a lot of news coming through there about the game's future, and some really cool stuff coming with announcements.

Hey, everyone! Sorry for the rapid-fire updates, but I am realizing that Discord is fantastic for this stage of a game's life, and wanted to remind you about it.

This is my first new game in the age of Discord, and it is so great for ironing out all of the new things that come up as thousands of new players throw their play styles at this kind of game.
Discord lets me maintain a live FAQ and answer questions and upload files in a much more streamlined and accessible way than any other tool, BGG included. It is missing a forum structure with nested replies that can be helpful, so BGG or reddit will provide that function for the community. But I'll likely handle most of the communication and updates through Discord. There are already a couple new questions in the FAQs to check out.

Hey, everyone. I messed up. I just realized (after a question from a backer) that the FAQ for the Kickstrter Exclusive figures never made it into or onto anything printed. It was in the rulebook, then on the exclusives box when we realized that was a better place, then somehow didn't make it onto the box. Then that fact slipped by us in proofing. Sorry about that. I spent so long looking at these that I was sure they were included somewhere. I have attached an image of them to print out, and I'll also paste them here. Sorry again!

BROG AND PIGGY’S FIGURES TAKE UP MORE SPACE, HOW DOES THAT WORK?
Brog and Piggy take up multiple squares, but only move 1 square at a time equal to their Speed Stat like any other Character. Each figure is considered to be in all of the squares that figure fills for the purposes of targeting and attacking. They may rotate using the rotation rules for large figures. When Respawning, they may not Respawn into any squares beyond the first row of squares outside of their Base. If part of their figure is still inside the Base, that is allowed, they are considered to be outside of the Base for rules purposes.
DOES PIGGY GET +2 TO HIS STRENGTH FROM KICKSTART IF HE SPAWNED OR WAS FULLY UPGRADED THIS TURN?
Yes. He had no chance to cause instant Kickstart damage, so he gets the +2 to his Strength Stat.
DOES SELINE SPAWN A GHOST WHEN SHE KILLS AN ALLY?
Yes. She does.
IF A GHOST KILLS A CHARACTER, DOES THAT SPAWN A GHOST?
No. Seline must kill the Character herself.
IF A GHOST KILLS PENNY, DOES SELINE GET A REVENGE TOKEN?
Yes. She does.
US Shipping Update

Hey, US backers. Quartermaster just emailed me to tell me your orders are scheduled to start shipping the week of the 24th, which sounds like they moved back a week due to other Kickstarters being fulfilled ahead of ours.
They also let me know that US backers will be sent tracking info via email.
UK backers are already getting theirs, and other international pledges should start arriving this month as well.
UK backers are reporting that everything is arriving in great shape, so my biggest concern about these being protected in transit seems to be eliminated.

Early August Update

Hey, everyone. I guess the universe felt it owed me one on this campaign, because Gatefall has cleared customs in the fastest customs clearance I have ever had on anything I have ever made.
Quartermaster already has your games in house, and is about to start the fulfillment process. They are telling me everyone should have their games by the end of the month. Which means for some of you, this is the last update before you open that box. International orders are also starting to go out. I know the EU orders are already being packed and shipped.
I wish I has included a card that said how grateful I am for your support. Adding anything to such a big undertaking is absurdly difficult, and I didn't want to see orders hung up because the box of cards never showed up, or for any other card-related nonsense that could happen. Which is why I never add keychains or stickers or anything to fulfillment.
So here is a digital card letting you know I am gratefull for your support. I hope you all put a lot of miles on this game, and that you let me know if you ever post about it to social media. ESPECIALLY if you paint these figures. I have been dying to see the different Firebugs that will exist.
Now I guess I have to add my social media stuff which makes this look like a gross follower grab. Whatever with following any of these. I just hope some of you will @ one of the accounts if you post a paint job or gameplay pic or anything so I can see people enjoying my work, which is a thing I like.
