Hey, everyone!
Quick update: the ship is on the east coast heading to port, and is scheduled to dock in Jacksonville, FL on the 3rd! Then we are just at the mercy of US Customs. Hopefully it gets cleared quickly and heads to you soon after.

Hey, everyone! I have a link here that is maybe the worst link I could ever have. It tracks Gatefall's ship in real time.

So far I can report that it spent about 74 years hanging out in China, and now it is making its way to the Panama Canal while apparently being pulled by an infant wearing floaties.
I don't know if it's Covid or what, but it took weeks longer to get the game's container onto this ship than it usually does. It's been maddening. Now that it's finally on the water, this link that lets me watch it is the most cursed curse with which I have ever been cursed. And that list is long.
In other news, I have listened to your feedback and therefore have no plans to offer Gatefall content through my Patreon. That Patreon is turning into something else completely. For future Gatefall content, you'll only need to watch for Kickstarter emails.
I've also created a Gatefall discord server that we can use to keep in touch in a way more effective way than any other service lets us. We'll use the discord for future playtesting and community suggestions. Feel free to ask any questions over there, since Kickstarter comments sections can be hard to navigate.

I realized that in my rush yesterday, I was deliberately unclear about some Patreon stuff, and VERY unintentionally unclear about other parts.
Gatefall expansions and Chapters will be Kickstarter projects. I would never dream of making an entrie chapter of this game Patreon-exclusive.
I don't want to say what could be coming through Patreon for all kinds of reasons, but I for sure see a future where item cards or small variants of things are available as Patreon exclusives.
I also do a live stream on twitch with a coin pusher machine that has all kinds of nonsense from donuts to Nintendo Switches falling off of it that I mail to chat. I plan to also make exclusive small items for Gatefall (professionally painted Firebugs, etc) and my other games that will appear on that machine. I also plan to hand-sculpt weird Gatefall figures and mail them to random people in the future. I have always loved micro-expanding my work in these ways.
But the majority and major installments of Gatefall will absolutely be kickstarted, and you absolutely do not need to become a patron over on Patreon to get the mass-market major blocks of this game. There will be far more substantial exclusive Gatefall content through its future Kickstarters.
Sorry for the confusion! I for sure typed that update way too quickly.
ALSO: I am still waiting on the ship info for us all to track that ship. I will post it as soon as I have it.

Hello, very important people in my creative life. I just want to let you know that some new things are happening, and that there is now a Patreon for those new things. This is worth mentioning here as some of those things will be directly related to this thing, since Gatefall is one of the most important things in my creative life.

Hey, everyone. Just a quick update to let you know Gatefall is printed, packed, and now loading onto the boat.
If all goes smoothly (lol what could go wrong in today's world), I'm hoping to see these arriving at your doorsteps next month.
I'll keep you posted as I learn more.
Retailers, I'll be contacting you right before we ship to give us all as much time as possible to gauge stuff in light of everything going on.
